To initiate and coordinate the academic and related activities of the G.A.S.P. of BC; to present the opinions of the association's members on academic matters to the divisional associations of the Graduate Student Organization; to elect representatives on all departmental committees; to organize and hold colloquia, seminars, and other functions which are subjects of professional and academic interests to its members; to engage in social functions deemed essential by BC; to participate in the community and campus activities deemed pertinent by the membership.
